Background
Ne&Co is a Clearwater, British Columbia-based company owned by Paul Bartschi. It was founded soon after his immigration from Switzerland, where he was active in the computer industries for 15+ years.
At the age of 16, Paul attended an apprenticeship for Automotive Mechanics for 4 years from which he graduated with distinction. His favorite class back then was already electronics.
1 Year later, he enrolled himself on a vocational school for Information Technology. He got his diploma as a Business Data Processing Specialist in 1994.
He continued to attend courses and seminars to get various product specific certificates including: Microsoft MCSE, Citrix CCA and more.
In 2000 he bought a 1/4 share of a Swiss computer company. At the same time, he started a new business together with other partners. The new company was one of the first Application Service Providers in Switzerland, concentrating on only providing this service to its customers.
He had a strong passion for Canada for a long time, which he nursed with frequent trips and vacations. In 2004 he decided to make this beautiful country his new home. He sold his shares and started the immigration procedure.
While he was waiting for the visa, he leased himself to a company for which he served as a supervisor on a migration project for the government of Canton Bern. The project comprised of approx. 20 locations, 250 servers, and 3000 workstations.
